St. Lawrence Journey

St. Lawrence River to its gulf...and the sea. Crossing the river by ferry, you visit the Gaspe Peninsula, where seabirds live in colonies of thousands on the coast, and descendants of Canada's early french settlers fish and farm in tiny villages clinging to the coast. Continuing to New Brunswick, you experience the Bay of Fundy, with the highest recorded tides in the world. Your journey ends at Halifax, Nova Scotia, a seaport from wooden ship days, where schooners can still be seen in the harbour next to the busy restored water front.
